You can request a MAC to migrate to another ISP here.

If you are having problems with your service, we would welcome the chance to try to rectify them before you leave us. If it's a BT issue such as low sync speed or line dropping, you are likely to have the same problems with your new provider.

We do not require any notice, but it may take several days for your new ISP to start service.

If you request a MAC, it will be valid for 28 days from date of issue.

If you change your mind and do not migrate to another ISP, there is no need to take any action. Unused MAC requests will just expire and your service will remain with us.

After you actually migrate away, we will not bill you again. To minimise costs, we would advise that you start service with your new ISP the day before you are next due to be billed by us.

You should not lose service for more than a few minutes on migration day. Please see our Broadband FAQs for an explanation for what happens when someone migrates into us. A similar process should happen with your new ISP.

If your new ISP is not up to your expectations, don't forget that you can migrate back to us free of charge with a MAC code.

Please do NOT request more than once as your MAC code will be cancelled and it will have to be created again leading to delay.
