Computer giant Microsoft says Exeter, Plymouth and Truro have a "golden opportunity" to follow the US city of Seattle and be hi-tech company hosts. Microsoft said there were many similarities between Seattle, home of company founder Bill Gates, and the South West, including lifestyle, environment, research centres and hi-tech businesses.
